The hotel was very nice and clean. Amenities were good and internet was fairly fast. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that if you are travelling by car you have no place to park overnight for two different days of the week as the parking is a public parking lot and it is used for a marketplace. Not really a great inconvenience but one should be aware of this before you get towed away. The hotel has plenty of warning signs but you have to read them!

I was in the area to visit the Palace of Versailles and gardens. I stayed two nights. It was nice, cute and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a good breakfast there every morning. My room was a little bit small but I expected that because it is a very old building and I have heard rooms in Paris and surrounding areas are normally a little small. Royal Hotel is the perfect location to visit Versailles. It was an 8 minute walk to the gate. It is family-owned, and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The room was just what we needed--a hot shower and very comfortable bed. Morning buffet had wonderful pastries, coffees, juices, and charcuterie. Highly recommend.

Quiet and clean and close to SNCF train as well as about 10 minute walk from RER C, which stops about two blocks from Chateau Versailles. The staff was incredibly helpful. Just around corner is a litte local marche for waters, etc. There is a Boulangerie, a Fromagerie, boutiques and such. Near the RER is a street with great restaurants to the side of the Chateau. A perfect respite from the urban pace of Paris. Walk for hours in the beautiful woods surrounding the hotel; eat in the outstanding, Michelin-starred restaurant; look out over the ponds that Corot painted.

This hotel was perfect for our family of 6 trip to Paris clean rooms very comfortable beds would stay here again!

Perfect location for visiting Versailles, and wonderful shopping and dining options within walking distance. lovely place
