This hotel is steps away from present day. It has an old world charm and a feeling of peace without cars and just the sound of waterfalls and nature.

The location was perfect for our destination surrounded They have hotel room and cabins, make secure you specify or look wich you want in your reservation . They also have camping area, They also have restaurant in place with menu that changes daily. And with cold temperatures you’re unable to change the temperature in the room.

After all the tourists leave, this area is magical. Very nice staff. Nespresso in each room was divine!

Staff was great. Location was outstanding. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety.

The location of this hotel is INCREDIBLE with views of the fjord and waterfalls! Our room was lovely, spacious and clean with a kitchen and couch. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious, especially the waffles. It was so nice to stay overnight in Gudvangen when there weren’t crowds there - the evening was peaceful on the fjord and in the morning we were able to do Viking Village when it first opened (axe throwing & archery with no line!!!) before all the tour buses and boat got...

Excellent location, super friendly staff, clean and well maintained property!

Really nice boutique hotel. We loved that it used to be a farm and it was full of so many sweet touches that made it unique. Loved the view of the valley from the property. Free parking was a bonus since we had the rental car, and we enjoyed the breakfast. This stay stands out from our trip because it was such a unique place. Highly recommended. Also we are birdwatchers and the surrounding gardens gave us an opportunity to add some species to our life lists!

The view of the fjord is amazing!! We came on a non cruise ship day so it was very peaceful. The area / shops are lovely

Breakfast was the best

Excellent place to stay

Property located outside of town. Needed cab to Sogndal ferry terminal.

Definitivamente la vista y ubicación fue lo más impresionante. Luego la atención del personal excelente y el desayuno riquísimo.

Very scenic property with chateau style building and fantastic views of the lake. Breakfast buffet was great They allowed us to check our bags before and after our stay. Ice water was always available in the lobby. The hotel is right next to the train station & gondola. Front desk was helpful with directions to the gorge & waterfall.

Beautiful place, everything you need and good food.
