    Entry level with open concept living room offers a comfy sofa, chaise and swivel armchair with ottoman. Large 55” Smart TV, wifi, dvd player, games, puzzles, and books to enjoy with family and friends. Stay in and make a home cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen and dining space. Private balcony with garden & hillside views…perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or dining al fresco with the full size bbq.

    Beautiful 3/4 bathroom with plenty of towels, hairdryer, makeup mirror & excellent lighting. Washer & dryer across from stocked beach closet outfitted with beach/shopping cart, pack n’ play, chairs, beach towels, sand umbrellas & more. Entry drop zone has attached baby gate, if needed.

    Bedrooms on the lower level. Two queen beds in the garden view bedroom. Plush CalKing bed in the second bedroom. Both furnished with extra bedding, closet storage, wall-mounted fan, Smart TV with options for wifi streaming and cable tv. Bathroom adjoining the bedrooms has a fully updated tub & shower with plenty of towels, hairdryers and large mirror. Additional portable fans on both levels.

    **This beautiful condo is under new ownership and all problems reported have been addressed.**

This is a GREAT place to say in Catalina! Super well equipped: beach chairs, umbrellas, cart, kitchen has EVERYTHING you need (even some spices), SUPER CLEAN (kudos to cleaning crew). Can easily accommodate 7 people. We loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay! The unit was nicely upgraded and provided all the equipment needed for a great beach day! The view was enchanting and looked like a picture postcard for National Geographic. A beautiful way to enjoy morning coffee! We found a great little gem in Avalon and will return. Thank you!

We have stayed in dozens of VRBOs around the world and this is the best equipped rental we have ever had! The unit is super cute and has literally everything you could think of for a comfortable stay, including kitchen supplies, extra blankets, games, toys and beach gear. It is decorated beautifully and looks better than the photos! Everything was spotless and written instructions guide you for using everything in the unit. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay longer next time! Note that the unit is located a couple of blocks uphill from the main street, which we easily walked, but could be an issue for someone with mobility problems.

This property is ideal in all aspects. The walk up the hill is a bit much for older people or those out of shape, but there’s an app for transportation around Avalon in a golf cart or cab. The place is great for an island getaway for writers.

We were really impressed with this rental. The bathrooms and kitchen are completely updated and you could tell the owners took great pride in decorating the place to make it cute AND functional. There are powerstrips in multiple locations that are easily accessible. The unit is stocked with everything you would need to cook and store food. They even had coffee set up and snacks that you had access to.Location of the place is centrally located to town, however you should know there is a small hill to get to it. We didn't care, but if hills aren't your thing, it might not work for you.There isn't a view of the ocean, but there are pretty trees in the back that the doves like to coo in so they were fun to watch while drinking my coffee in the morning.I would rent this place again and again!

We had a very good experience staying here. The kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied. Plenty of towels including accessories like hair drier, soap in the shower… Snacks in the kitchen, a Keurig and a coffee pot. There are beach chairs and accessories for going to the beach. It feels like they tried to think of everything. The king size bed was nice. Firm, if you love firm. I personally like a softer bed but it was good enough. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed laying on the couch watching movies and having popcorn which was supplied in the kitchen. The property is a short walk up a hill. We were fine with the walk but if hills or stairs are a challenge just be aware.

Nice place

Nice, but if there is no AC maybe installing ceiling fans would be a good idea. Management was great and answryrcall of our questions quickly.

This rental was absolutely worth it! We had four adults and two kids (toddler infant). There was plenty of space to accommodate us for lounging, eating, sleeping, etc. The beds were perfect and very comfy, and the pack-and-play was great, easy to set up, and had clean sheets ready to go. All spaces were very clean and updated. Each space has a wall unit a/c, which was nice for those of us who prefer to sleep at different temps. Would 100% choose this rental again. Glad we stayed here vs a hotel. Fun stuff - twice, we were able to see a deer from the patio, in the trees/bushes below.FYI - there is substantial hill to climb (or descend, I suppose) to get here. Not too big a deal, unless you have a double stroller and/or need knee replacement surgery. It’s still doable, but you’ll want to mentally (& maybe physically) prepare.

Awesome Place!

This place will host 3 couples very cozily. Full Kitchen with a gas grill on the patio! Host was able to accommodate us an extra night when we were stuck on the island due to bad weather. Only Downside was this property is located a trek up a hill. Usually I don’t mind walking but I just ran 50 miles lol

weekend in Catalina

Worked for us. Thanks for fans. Dishes were fine as well as sheets. Towels were just OK and showers were a trickle. Tough getting a stroller in and out. Had asked for a pack&play and told I would have to rent. Found 2 in the closet. Location was great except for the hill.

Gravel Biking Catalina Island-lots of beautiful views and lots of climbing.

This worked quite well for us. It is an older property, well kept up and in a quieter section of Avalon. We had bike travel boxes and there was enough floor space to store and a secure balcony for the bikes. Contrary to other reviews, the towels were fine, the water pressure excellent with plenty of hot water. We did have a two block climb with the bike boxes but a young local surfer carried mine up when he saw that I was struggling!

Worked out for our family of 4

Family of 4 stayed for 4 nights in late December and this worked out pretty good for us. Place was clean and bright, and having the two beds for the kids in their own room, and two bathrooms was pretty nice. At least in December it was very quiet here, nice and peaceful.Read the reveiws on the walk up the hill and this was a non issue for us and should be a non issue for anyone who isn't a couch potato. Even with our 50lb wheelie we brought over my 13yr old was able to bring it up the hill.Nice and walkable to everything and we were glad we didn't stay in some of the places we were looking at in the flats, especially on Sumner which were busy with noisy golf carts all the time. Very queit up on this hill and not all the carts or crowds.

Don’t miss this rental!

I have stayed at many rentals in many towns and this by far has been the very best! First and foremost.. it was neat and clean, my most important detail. Second.. it was decorated so beautifully and made us all feel right at home. Third.. it had absolutely every single thing you might want, think of or imagine you might need. From unique wood puzzles to lint rollers to coffee, bottles of water and complimentary snacks. Beach toys, bandaids and a 12x mirror to put on make-up! More outlets and usb ports than you could ever need and did I mention how cute and comfy? We were all pleased as punch after our weekend and talked on the boat about our next time we can rent 217 Whitley!

Beautiful property!

Very well kept older property. Easily accommodated 6 adults. Close to walk to everything! The beds and pillows were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets for cool evenings. It is a steep hill climb of about 2 blocks to get there, that is not disclosed in the description. Take that into consideration when booking based on who is in your party. There was also only 1 extra toilet paper roll for a 4 night stay with 6 women. When we inquired about extra we were told to go buy some. I did not find that very accommodating.
