"Upon arrival, everyone is very helpful. Front desk is on queue. I was given recommendations about ordering room service in case I was hungry. The room felt clean. Had a good restful evening. The buffet breakfast is very good as well as the café. The personnel is very charming and accommodating. The hotel has been renovated since my last stay."

"The hotel is very stylish and fun in both design and attitude - although the small checkin desk is oddly located and its twisting hallways can take a bit getting used to. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff is very courteous and attentive. The lounge and rooftop have lots to offer and the views from the rooftop lounge are excellent; as are the drinks, food and incredible drag brunch show on Sundays. The pool however is odd; with its glass wall facing the roof patio, it feels more like an aquarium for the lounge and its far smaller than it appears in photos. The hotel is perfectly located, but be warned that the Av. Insurgentes is very busy and Very Loud. If you are on one of the first 7 or 8 floors facing that street, you may have a hard time sleeping. The rooms facing towards the opposite side of the city are much much quieter (i say this because we had to change rooms). So be warned."

"Our stay here was amazing and if given the chance I’d love to stay here again! The room was clean with AC which was a requirement for us when looking for a place to stay. We actually booked the regular king room and the staff upgraded us to the king room with a terrace which was amazing for seeing the morning sunrise. The staff was also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of places to go in the area and foods to try during our stay. We weren’t there for long but we had a lot of places we wanted to go and the hotel was the perfect walking distance to all the spots on our list. Also a note, we initially had planned for check-out at 12pm as per instructions however the staff was kind enough to allow for a later check-out (free if you sign up for loyalty program) due to our delayed flight. So overall I’d highly recommend staying here and I’d love to come back and fully enjoy all the amenities given the chance."

"Had a great 5 night stay at the Hippodrome. Hotel is in a fantastic location with very easy access to parks, restaurants and cafes. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was a great size, clean and well appointed - clothes steamer, snacks, water and thoughtful toiletry additions."
