"Returned to this hotel after a very nice experience 3 years ago. The hotel staff and the hotel itself are fantastic. Sadly, the restaurant lets it down. We had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was terrible and overpriced. The restaurant staff were quite rude and unhelpful, including the one at breakfast. So, if you are just staying at the hotel, this is great. But don't waste your money on the restaurant."

"The owner was on hand to greet us and showed us around the property. We were able to use the conservatory and garden, which was an added bonus. Breakfast was decent, with breads, cheeses, meats and yoghurts, plus fruit juice and hot drinks. The owner also offered to make us eggs if we wanted. Beds aren't huge but were comfy enough. Shower was decent. The property advertises having an "Electric car charging station on site". This isn't strictly true; it is just a standard french plug socket at the gate to the property; you will need your own charger. I asked the owner if I could charge my car overnight, which she said was fine but wanted 5euros to cover the cost of the electricity. I worked out that this was fair, as 12 hours at just 2kWh per hour would give around 24kWh of electricity. French default tariff is around 0.2euro per kWh. I explained I only needed about 30% charge, which was the 24kWh (I didn't have time to get more anyway). But in the morning I realised the owner had turned the power to the socket off overnight from 11pm to 7:30am, so I got less than half the charge I was expecting (and in fact needed to get home). So the owner should be more transparent about the fact that it's just a plug socket, and she should not turn it off overnight - if you intend using it, I suggest you confirm this with her in advance! She may not realise that all portable chargers will only give around 2kWh per hour, so they won't break the bank."

"Fair sized rooms with good showers etc en suite. On the ground floor, many rooms face the car park and occupants can easily be seen unless the curtains are fully drawn. There is no air conditioning which made sleeping difficult with night temperatures in the high 20Cs and day temperatures nudging 40C. Good continental buffet breakfasts can be eaten out side on the terrace while the wild rabbits in the garden are having theirs. The staff were friendly but occasionally seemed slightly stressed, not surprising given the temperatures they had to work in. The hotel provides a reasonably varied dinner menu."
