Everything about La Villa Eugene was outstanding! The wonderful room and bathroom were very spacious and beautifully furnished. These attributes were exceeded by the warm and friendly staff who gave us exceptional service from arrival to departure. The location of the property is ideal, within walking distance of many of the champagne houses, including Moet and Chandon. Breakfast also was outstanding with a great selection including delicious croissant. The staff greeted us with fresh squeezed...

I loved this simple and quiet hotel. We were greeted kindly at the front door upon arrival and personally shown the room with it amenities. The location and surroundings were wonderful.

It was a really nice stay - comfortable, welcoming, quiet and clean. There was an issue with a window closure in my room, the receptionist gave us a different room/an upgrade that had a coffee machine and a bottle of water. Thank you for your welcome!
The hotel is very well taken care of, there's a small groccery store that sells local products and bread right next to the hotel and a secured parking.

The entire staff made me feel comfortable and at home—it truly felt like I was staying at a friend’s place rather than a hotel. The location was easy to find and tucked away in a fantastic area, making it a great base for exploring Paris.

It was a quick stay for us. I booked the hotel last minute and got there at around 8:30-9. Check in was a bit weird as there wasn’t anyone at the main entrance/desk/lobby so I called hotels.com to get me in touch with someone from the property. A young girl came out to give us the key. Unfortunately because of the language barrier I couldn’t understand much. She gave me keys and told me where breakfast would be served. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we left early the next morning. My family loved this ancient chateau (medieval, with 17th and 18th century additions). The location was perfect, next to a little village with medieval church, artisanal bakery, and general grocery store for picnic supplies. Our room was huge, with a view over the moat, modernized bathroom, and even a small maid's room tucked up a tiny staircase. The breakfast in the main chateau was great, with local cheeses, jams, etc, and the dinner in the Orangerie was an experience worthy of a Michelin star...

While Aÿ-Champagne is renowned for its rich Champagne heritage rather than sandy shores, adventurous travelers can still enjoy a unique experience nearby. Start your day at the stunning Avenue de Champagne in Épernay, just a short drive away, where you can stroll along the picturesque avenue lined with prestigious Champagne houses, such as Moët & Chandon. For a taste of local culture, visit the historic Église Saint-Brice, a charming church that features beautiful stained glass windows, offering a cozy spot for reflection. If you're in the mood for outdoor activities, the Parc de la Belle Étoile is perfect for a family picnic or a leisurely bike ride along the scenic Marne River. Wine enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to embark on a vineyard tour to witness the captivating Champagne-making process while soaking in the lush landscapes. For your stay, consider hotels in Épernay or nearby villages that provide luxurious accommodations and attentive service, ensuring you unwind after a day of exploration. Enjoy the blend of culture, adventure, and relaxation as you indulge in the delights of this enchanting region!
