"I hate that I couldn't give a higher rating, but I just can't. While I loved the view from the apartment and the only employee working there was great, my stay was a roller coaster of bad and good. The listing says there is a microwave, a dryer, and a private bathroom, but that is not true. There is a washer and a drying rack. Because the property is so high up and the balcony where the drying rack is located is, takes several days to get your clothes dry. The listing says non-smoking, but...

"We love that hotel, this is the second time we stay there. We were celebrating my birthday and hotel left me champagne and cake, chocolate candies. Thank you for doing that. This time our room was smelling like a cigarettes and we tried air out the room, but we couldn’t. This smell didn’t go out. Some kids events were scheduled at the same time with breakfast, lunch or dinner - this is not really convenient. And some of the salads at the buffet wasn’t fresh. But in general we like that place and we will come back."

"The entire staff at 4Seasons Baku make this iconic Baku hotel even more special and memorable! They helped us coordinate our visa to Baku before arriving due to the portal link not working. The staff had a birthday cake for our adult son as Baku was part of his birthday trip. The concierge's dinner recommendations were delicious and better than AI's suggested places. Our two rooms had fantastic views of the flame towers, the tulip mall, and the carpet museum. It was perfectly located near the old city walls. Breakfast was the best (or near the best) on our entire Caucasus extended tour. BAKU is a gorgeous city with historical beautiful sites to explore. The city wowed us and has much more to offer to tourists than we had anticipated. I'd love t return for another 3 days in the future."
