"Enjoyed the views of the river and the pool from our balcony. Very tranquil and the rooms were decent sized. Staff were very attentive and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable even after a delayed check in. Highlight of the trip was using the bicycles to visit the city centre free of charge. Would come back! "

"Stayed for nine days at this property. Great room, great breakfast, service of high quality, all staff very attentive and responsive to my questions and comments. Great laundry service as well. The property is very family friendly. They have courses like cooking and pottery, plus they can arrange day trips to various sights. It is not brand new and it has a few condition issues regarding lighting in stairs at night and other minor issues which I raised and staff duly took note of. I have stayed at far more expensive places that provided neither the service, nor the overall quality of experience Hoi An Historic Hotel does. It's one of the best values for money I've ever had in more than two decades of my tourism and business travel worldwide. Keep in mind, if you visit during the summer, weather is very hot and humid so you have to hydrate and electrolyte accordingly."

"There are many home stays scattered throughout Hoi An. I’m sure they are all good. We really liked ours at Tam Hong Phuc. Big room with 2 queen beds. Great AC. Large bathroom with a walk in shower. Modern. Great location just on the outskirts of old town but very close. Quiet alley off the Main Street. Madame Kahane’s Bánh mi shop was right around the corner along with several other good restaurants and coffee places. Best banh mi in Vietnam, they say. The owner and his wife are extremely nice and hospitable. They got us rental bikes in 10 minutes on 2 occasions. We enjoyed talking with them. They were always available and around for us. "
