A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. We stayed for 10 nights so we had time to enjoy and relax. We thank Filipo and Feredica, who have been so hospitable during our stay. Lots of options for breakfast with the best cappuccino ever. Excellent stay and quite spacious! Rita was an amazing host, and her breakfast was quite filling. I’ll be going back for a cooking class! This location is also very quiet and private, which I appreciated.

It was a beautiful property and location. I’d definitely go back. Barbara, Julien and Dad were the most wonderful hosts. Thank you!

This was a GREAT stay! Perfect location ... right in the Roman theater arena, yet our room was not on the inside of the walls, so it was nice and quiet at night. Accommodations were wonderful, clean and comfortable; location was perfect. We were at the arena, close to the Roman wall around the city, and very close and walkable to several food, shopping, and historical sights. Definitely recommend this location!

Lovely charming bed and breakfast just outside the walls of Lucca. Extremely kind staff. We were there in a heat wave and it was difficult to cool the room. Everything else was great.

Finally. A place to stay that is EXACTLY what’s shown and promised. An out of the way, lovely place to stay. Thank you.

Amazing experience, great location, clean, nice rooms. Wonderful hospitality and hosts! Absolutely best value in Lucca

La Boheme is a charming B&B in the heart of Lucca’s old city convenient to restaurants, shops, and sites. Our room was clean and quiet, despite being situated above an bustling narrow street. The host Chiara was friendly and helpful and gave us great dining and concert recommendations. We would definitely stay at her establishment upon returning to this delightful city.

Great location, easy to find and very nice room. Also wonderful coffee, cappuccino etc machine and small kitchen to share. We were able to stay an extra day since we loved Lucca so much. Thank you Residenza Storico!

Great house for a quiet, relaxing stay, very clean, wonderful friendly staff. Beach is a short drive or a 15 min bicycle ride away. Very peaceful place with a mountain view. The Pietrasanta train station has a free parking, so you can park and take the train to Cinque Terre, La Spezia, or Pisa.

Very beautiful place this was second time here, and from the room being impeccable and the staff being accommodating and very sweet ladies, will definitely return.

Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent. Definetely will recommend

The location is outstanding. East to get to everything. Luca is one of our favorite cities. This is our second stay at this lovely accommodation.

Large, clean room. Comfortable bed. Kitchen was well supplied. Entry instructions were excellent, best I’ve had. Well situated near the university. Excellent tips from the host.

Good value & perfect location near the wall

Clothing from previous client was still in the room.

Clean and modern B&B 5 min by foot from the centre. Check in was efficient and breakfast adequate. The host Michele was friendly and provided helpful information. There's paid parking directly in front of the property or free parking some distance away. Would recommend, especially to those with a car!
