"Everything was wonderful. Our hosts even included a pack of biscuits and 500ml of milk in the fridge. The road up to the cottage is a well maintained farm road as long as you drive at no more than 10 mph. Very comfortable king size bed sith luxurious bath towels etc. The wifi worked well as did the tv although we hardly had it on. The towns of Pickering & Malton were less than 5 miles away, both with good & interesting shops. I look forward to returning on my next visit."

"We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. "The home was just as we hoped. Very clean, modern decorating, new kitchen and bathrooms, heating was warm and working well. We were allowed to bring our dogs, who had a secure back garden to play in. Nothing bad to say, the owners Steve and Carole, were wonderful and responsive. Thank you, we will be coming back!"

"We stayed at the Cornmill for my father in laws 80th and was quite suprised we were the first !! It was perfect for what we wanted. The whole house suited all 11 of us that came and the dog. "This accomodation has been the best we’ve experienced so far on our trip. The bed was large and comfortable , the living area and kitchen were just right and the bathroom with bath was wonderful . It was lovely and quiet in spite of being close to shops. It was easy walking distance to bus station and pubs. Overall a terrific place to base ourselves whilst exploring Yorkshire. And we loved the heated floors☺️"

The accommodation is on 3 floors so not ideal for anyone with significant mobility problems. The garage is small, as stated, but we squeezed a Renault Clio in. We'd definitely stay here again."
