Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with a stunning view that took our breath away. Waking up to such a beautiful landscape was an absolute treat. The bed was comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everything was impeccably clean. Each morning, a delicious breakfast was served. Everything was fresh and very tasty. "We loved our week at Shepherds rest! Ilona was lovely and answered questions quickly and was so good to check in periodically. The house was clean and comfortable. The scariest part of the stay was driving through the tunnel when coming and going but we were driving a 9 passenger van so a small car would have no problems at all. There are beautiful walks right outside the door and it was peaceful and quiet. Lovely place to stay!"

"Great little place to stay in between rests for the trip! The room was nice and cozy which made you feel right at home and the beds were comfortable as well. Room was all clean too, with amenities such as a kettle, cups, and some tea and coffee packs. Would stay here again if I came up this way. "
