"This Hotel, the staff and the rooms are wonderful. I have stayed at the Hotel on North recently four times ( since my mother was admitted to nursing home in the the area) and each time I have had a wonderful stay. In the four times I have been there the staff have been great, know why I am staying there (I am from CNY) and always ask how my experience was with my mother--they are friendly, take the time to listen to me....I feel grateful each time I stay there⭐️⭐️⭐️ a special shout out to Cameron, Andrew and Jamie!!!! "

"We had a great time in the cottage. It was perfectly cozy for our family of 6. The cottage has everything you need to have fun on a cold winter night. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and board games! Thanks for a lovely stay - we will come back in the summer!"

"We are 3 adult couples from MA, NY and ME who summer vacation together and chose the Lake Ashmere home for our winter getaway and it was perfect!The first thing we noticed upon entering the home, besides the spectacular lake view, was it was pristine clean!!We loved hanging out in the living room, cooking in the kitchen and chilling in the hot tub. We all took our turns in the living room massage chairs and cooking on the grill and blackstone was sooper convenient.New Years day was perfect as we all hung out watching college football downstairs on the 86" flatscreen tv and again we chilled outside in the hot tub while it lightly snowed...how cool!The beds were comfortable and the upstairs loft is wonderful. They do state it is a king bed but it is actually 2 twin mattresses, no biggie we still slept like babies LOLThe bathrooms all had toiletries and they even provided bathrobes that were perfect for throwing on when getting out of the hot tub! They provide towels for both bathing and hot tubbing so no need to bring your own.The laundry room is a HUGE plus as well.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day getaway and would highly recommend Lake Ashmere.....TY for opening your home!"

"We booked this property with our friends for a ski holiday. The place was perfect in size for our group. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. Between the living room and family room, kids had room to play and entertain. Host was very quick to respond. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.Overall, it was a very good place for us to stay for our holiday."

"This is an incredibly well renovated and extraordinarily comfortable house - one might never guess given the age of the property! It has been very tastefully decorated, and the thoughtfulness of the owner/operator is eminently evident. With the many (over 15) wonderful experiences I have had in recent year at VRBOs this one still stands out due to the extremely well stocked nature of the house in general, and the kitchen in particular! Additionally we were permitted to park a car in the abundantly large parking space outside of our reservation hours which made a HUGE difference in the convenience afforded to our point to point hiking the Appalachian Trail in the Cheshires. All of us who stayed would wholeheartedly recommend this as THE place to stay if hiking the Appalachian Trail in Massachusetts or theCheshires! "

"Needed some time away back in New England and this was the perfect spot. Very comfortable, quiet and clean. Within a mixed vacation home residential area on a lake it was very quiet in the fall, but likely more bustling in the summer, but it is in a lake community. Nice, well built log cabin, clean and maintained. The owner communicated everything well and is easy to contact. The cabin are very close to Hinsdale and Dalton which has more amenities. Many state parks, woods and conservation lands nearby. Location is easy to get to. "
