"The room was very beautiful and clean. Staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, and helped us with our heavy luggage without hesitation. Within five minutes of our arrival, we were welcomed with fresh tea, and our room had complimentary cakes! They supply a fan in the room too, which is helpful for anyone that needs some airflow for comfort. We had breakfast in the morning and the food was delicious and fresh. "This cottage makes the most of its small space. It is comfortable, cosy, pretty and has everything for a short or longer stay. It is perfectly located for Baslow and all that it has to offer, including just a short stroll from the wonderful village shop. I enjoyed my stay very much but, in my opinion, it is overpriced. Also, be aware that the neighbour has a routine of early to bed, early to rise (5.30 am.) Not particularly conducive to a holiday!"
