"This is a beautiful, quiet hotel with an amazing view of Frenchman's bay. Very convenient to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor The people were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the balcony on the room."

"In my experience, the property is unique. It is as unlike a chain hotel as it can be. It is as if a Hotel has taken over a local neighborhood! It is a whole lot of individual homes taken over and converted into a hotel. Felt like being a guest at a friend's residence rather than being in a hotel. Christopher, the gentlemen at the reception was very friendly and a fount of local knowledge which he was eager to share! Will definitely stay there again if I happen to pass this way in the future. And I recommend this place without any hesitation."
