We came up from Austin, TX to attend the Louisburg Mill Ciderfest (I’m trying to visit all 50 states before I turn 50) & I really don’t think I could’ve picked a better place in the entire state of KS than the beautiful Kaskaskia Place! The house had copies of the local newspaper that the owners & the house were featured just a couple of weeks ago on the Front Page! This is a historic hotel in the heart of Ft. Scott, Kansas within walking distance to the historical sites. The rooms are small due to the age of the hotel but they are comfortable. The owners are very gracious, attentive, and willing to talk at length about the history of the hotel and the town. It has more of a bed and breakfast atmosphere than a hotel which we liked very much

I came up to visit my children for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We were all very impressed with the overall stay. Super clean facility and of course the kids were ecstatic over the heated pool!! Which we did use and I have to say was amazing!! I would like to personally thank the staff for their hospitality. They sure know how to do a breakfast. All in all I highly recommend this hotel and I will be back.

This hotel is my go-to for a trip I make three or four times a year. It's a perfect halfway point for me. I appreciate the convenient location, the safe, clean environment, and the no-frills, just-right accommodations and price.

We stayed there had king bed and they served breakfast. We enjoyed our stay!

Older, but well kept. Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Great breakfast also.

This is a relatively new construction. Nice infrastructure with plenty of parking in a quiet area just off the main highway. Rooms were impeccable. Service was very professional and friendly. I drove an extra 30 miles to stay here, and it was well worth it.

Great room, great price.

This is a well maintained, older style motor lodge. Despite it's age, it's well maintained, the room was clean, no musty smell, great water pressure, quiet and all the amenities worked. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Park right at your door is very convenient. For the rate offered, this is an exceptional value!

I was in the area to fish a tournament on Truman Lake. They had boat parking with plenty of electrical outlets. The room and public spaces were all recently updated and very nice.

I found this hotel to be a cheap, safe, clean & quiet place to stay. It's in a good location too if you're in town to see the fort. There is a sign at the front desk to call for service, which is a little odd, but the guy that answered and showed up to check me in was kind & helpful. Don't expect anything too fancy shmancy with this place. It IS a budget hotel, but it's clean. Make sure you ask for the WiFi password when you check in and enjoy the free cable & breakfast.

Good value, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Few choices for breakfast.

Nice quiet & tidy place. Not the most modern, but definitely well-kept. I thought it was unique that two of the sides had a nice, peaceful cemetery and some farm animals. The office had a very cute orange & white cat too and cat people are the best people! The gentleman who checked us in was very nice too.

Super clean place to stay the manager or owner Getta very friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The only complaint my wife & I had was the proximity to the highway and railroad tracks. She literally heard cars all night and the trains horn well into 2 am. With that said we wouldn't hesitate to stay again, this time we know to bring ear plugs.
