"I made reservations to stay at this hotel, and paid in full, over 2 months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 pm to check in and drop off our bags, they did not have our reservation. I had paper copies, and emails, showing that we had in fact reserved a room. The manager had zero interest in trying to solve the problem and told us he couldn’t help us and there were no rooms available. This was our first day in Europe after an overnight flight from the US. "The staff here were so very helpful, they were a great resource dealing with the rain and unfortunate low clouds. They also put out a great breakfast and we loved the schorle machine. The location was convenient enough, although Google kept wanting to send us down random side streets due to construction. My only two complaints : first, there's no AC. Most of the time you don't need it in the Alps, but the night we stayed our room was _hot_. Second, some of the layout is just weird. Our room had a balcony, but there was another door to that same balcony out in the hallway, so leaving the door open to let in some cool mountain air would also let in any other guest of the hotel."
