Perfect for Family Reunion, Holiday Stay

Held a pre-Christmas weekend gathering together in order to "max out" the quality time with all of the adults and adult children. We found this place to be well-suited for our group. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well-equipped and the living spaces were perfect for family visits, game times and meals! Will stay again when in the area!

This is a beautiful home. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc.We loved the large yard and pickleball court. The home is very conveniently located right off the interstate, which does lead to traffic noise and people using it as a turn around spot, but the owners have provided a chain to put across the driveway at night to keep traffic off the property.

Mostly good review, but few things to improve: description should say that stove is induction that must use magnetic pans. We had pots and pans but couldn’t use them. We needed bigger pot, which we brought, but couldn’t use. And we could not get front left stove eye to work. Owner should check it. We needed 4 stove eyes. We played pickleball, which was a nice feature. However, the wire fence behind the court, to the north, allowed the balls to go through, and they were sometimes difficult to retrieve. In fact, we could not retrieve one, and we drove to Cookeville to buy a replacement. Owner should check the porch on the backside: it is beginning to deteriorate. Not dangerous, but needs attention. This sounds like a lot, but rest of the house was great. Overall, enjoyed the stay.
