"This is an elegant hotel in a traditional style - lots of wood paneling - with a few contemporary accents. Large room. Very centrally located in Beijing. Only gets 4 stars because their only restaurant closes at about 9:00 PM - unacceptable for a luxury hotel in one of the world’s major cities. The food in the bar/lounge was slow in coming and mediocre. Only basic cocktails - the margerita was terrible."

"The hotel was absolutely lovely and in such a great location! It’s around an hour’s walk to the Forbidden City and 45 minutes to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, making it a great base for exploring Beijing. The room was cleverly laid out to maximise storage space, the bed was super cosy, and I really appreciated the utensils provided. There’s also a Starbucks downstairs for your morning coffee, although the Parisian bakery just a couple of minutes down the road is well worth a visit! There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby, which is really handy for picking up any essentials. The real star of the show, however, was definitely the pool overlooking the skyline, absolutely gorgeous at night and such a highlight of our stay! Would definitely recommend."

"We were happy with our stay at Sunworld, has good connections close to the main attractions, breakfast was really good and the ladies cleaning our room were nice and efficient every day…special thanks to Jenny and the other ladies from 8th floor. There was also washing machine downstairs so that was really helpful."
