"We came to Napa for a girls trip and booked this hotel not really knowing the area, We were pleasantly surprised that it was so close to many great restaurants and shops! The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable! The breakfast was good too! We’ll definitely come back again!!!! "

"The property is at the top of a hill, unique location and several shops and restaurants in the vicinity along with gas stations; Safeway, Round Table Pizza, Bagel spot, Jamba Juice, Chevron...the pool area is well manicured and has inviting seating areas. My only gripe is that my AC unit was stuck "On" so I had to unplug it at night. I could have advised staff but just wanted to go to bed. I would definitely return."

Avida at Bear Bar treated us like royalty—even when the kitchen had closed, she made a special exception to bring us oysters, and we were just sitting at the bar! That level of service was consistent across the board. Every staff member remembered details about us with such care and intention—it felt like staying with friends who just happen to run a world-class resort. Our room? Absolutely stunning. From the heated bathroom tiles to the dreamy outdoor shower and the fresh veggies grown onsite as a welcome gift (truly the best carrot and kumquat we’ve ever had), every detail was thoughtfully curated. We even received a birthday card signed by the entire staff—such a rare and touching gesture. I’ve never been more sad to leave a property. The spa was also top-notch—Joquin gave an incredible massage that left me floating. Stanly Ranch is a special place: hidden, exclusive, luxurious, and pampering—yet refreshingly unpretentious.
