"Great property, they were very helpful and knowledgeable about surrounding places to see! Agustin helped us greatly when our shuttle out of Tamarindo canceled 5 hours before and managed to find an alternative for us! Overall, very easy to walk anywhere in town from Refugio. Expect some noise at night but they offer earplugs and truthfully it never was bad enough to need them"

"Tamarindo is in the middle of a building boom and it was all around the hotel. They worked extra hard to make our stay comfortable and quiet. Lovely place with a fun and very helpful staff. Easy access to the beach and walkable for most of Tamarindo."

"The place over whole is ok looking very clean, however the sheet were old and seems dirty there was hair from previous travellers we had to sleep on the towels , the place has lots of potential. Location is very good to airport and staff were very attentive to open the place , don’t worry once you there it’s easy to access. "

There are only 4 rooms, so we felt well taken care of. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Tamarindo."

"there is only 2 draw backs about this accomodation. 1) the noise that permeates the walls and roof. The noise in the room nearest the busy street is pretty bad. 2) the breakfast. Other than that the room is spacious if not a little weird with the toilet not being vented but open to the room. the bed was comfortable and the receptionist was helpful."

"Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to! The A/C and ceiling fan kept us plenty cool. The bathroom was huge, with two showers! -- what a nice feature. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure Our favorite part was the pool! "We absolutely loved this hotel. We checked in when the sun was setting and fell in love immediately! Our room was on the first floor with ocean view. We spent an entire day just relaxing at the pool and beach and eating at the delicious restaurant. My husband never wants to do that but he loved it at the resort. When we were leaving we peeked in to see the pool across the street and wish we would’ve gone in it - it’s beautiful! Everyone was so kind and worked so hard. We definitely recommend it. "

"We loved everything about this property!!! The views are second to none! Bryan at the Front Desk was so kind and helpful, he made sure to go over all hotel details with us. Our room was very clean and was quite functional. The air conditioning worked great and our shower was nice and roomy with lots of hot water. Elena with Housekeeping came every day and made sure we had fresh towels and even left us sweet treats! ❤️ We enjoyed having a cocktail on our balcony and watching the sun set each evening. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed the swim up bar service. The breakfast buffet was delicious with so many options. I got excited each morning to see which amazing fruits were being offered. We dined several times at Caviar for lunch and dinner. Every meal was outstanding and the wait staff was so kind & attentive. The hotel also has a shuttle which will take you to town and the Langosta Beach Club. We spent one day at the beach club and enjoyed it, we even saw a Howler monkey! I highly recommend booking a stay at Wyndham Tamarindo. 👍🎉"
