"A well positioned hotel about a 10 to 15 mins downhill walk into Ilkley or a few minutes by taxi. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.Good quality toiletries were provided and there was plenty of hot water. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a good selection on offer. We didn't have evening dinner as it was quite a limited menu which I believe may be changed soon. All the staff were great, so friendly and helpful. I hope the bar and dining area will be addressed to make a more ambient atmosphere. We did enjoy our stay "

"There's a clear divide between the more classic part of the hotel and the 'newer' section. I ended up in the newer section, which definitely feels quite tired and in need of a revamp. However, for the price paid and the requirements I had I can't complain one bit. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and the room whilst again a bit tired, was warm and clean. Does the job you would expect in the price bracket, so I really don't have anything bad to say about my stay. "

"I stayed in Room 14, Classic double . Very very clean and tidy, great to have a fridge too. They also have an onsite golf course and Padel courts available Bar area is really nice , with log fires on cold days Lovely surroundings 5 stars from a seasoned hotel work traveller for the last 30 years "
