"Had a very comfortable 3-night stay at Tinto with my girlfriend. It's located in Barrio Bellavista, within a a few steps of numerous restaurants and attractions. One thing that is good to know in the current social climate in Santiago is that the hotel is in a safe area, though it is close to the epicenter of protests in Plaza Italia. "Property was not clean , no WiFi , hard to find location. Pictures on Expedia website and other booking sites will mislead. Location Kinda party place , not recommend for family."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel! The staff is so nice and so helpful! You really feel at home. It’s so close to the Patio Bellavista where there are tons of bars and restaurants. Also a very short walk to the Cerro San cristobal! Wish I stayed longer "

"When planning our trip we had no idea what to expect other than the Mandarin Oriental is known for luxury. I cannot say enough about how nice, happy and accommodating the staff at this M.O. are. The room was very well appointed and large! Temperature perfect! OMG the shower was the best we have ever experienced!! If you havent yet join the Fans of M.O.! They have amazing experiences and specialty things they do for you and we had a couple really nice surprises!! To name a few staff that went above and beyond were Stephanie from guest relations, Andres the concierge, Karen in the bar and Alonzo(forgive me if I spelt it wrong) the bellhop. These people and many more whose names escape me made this feel like home! "
