"Great hotel "

"We enjoyed a wonderful two days at Matildas. The hotel was a wonderful refuge, especially the garden, and the vibe was relaxed and friendly. Macarena, at the front desk, was kind and thoughtful as she helped us with our early arrival. Her suggestions for travel around the city were helpful, and we went to two of the three restaurants she recommended (both were excellent). Although all of the staff were friendly, Macarena really stood out. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The shuttle drive was easy to locate, pleasant and friendly. I arrived off early 6 am flight, I was dissatisfied that although my room was ready, I had to pay 40 dollars to access it before noon. Also hotel site says 24 hr check in? So why charge more? That's not ethical, same when my onward flight departed midnight, extra 40 dollars for late check out, but hotel did not have any incoming booking. Staff very helpful. "I stayed in these suites a week prior to this stay. This is a residential apartment building with apparently the owners (3)rent their places individually. First the Pros, Great location, clean, spacious one bedroom apartment, clean, comfy bed, full kitchen. The cons, No English speaking at front security guard. It’s a bit confusing, guard has to call whoever to get better English speKing rep. Guards are perpetually cranky, not friendly at all. The place was noisy, there was a party...

"Just as almost everybody else has said, the neighborhood isn’t nice. There is a bohemian neighborhood a short seven minute walk. A certain name change to Le Meridien, they still have a lot to do to bring this hotel up to Marriott standards. "
