"やまぎしさん was very helpful! He shower great hospitality and was able to provide much assistance to help make the most of my short stay. The room was AMAZING! The room onsen was nice and hot. The view was great and had everything you could ask for. I really enjoyed the senbei and haori jacket- great for photo opportunity. I did not dine at the hotel but had some great whiskey at the bar. The bartenders were excellent- wish I got their name to give them credit. Breakfast buffet was excellent...

"This is the cleanest and most modern hostel in Beppu. I have stayed twice this month and will stay again in early April with about five friends. I like the location and cleanliness, but as important is the kitchen and dining room. The room is big enough to easily fit 30 people. This makes is perfect for groups because we have a place to meet and talk besides the dorm bedrooms. It is less than 5 minutes from the train station, a market, a grocery store and many restaurants."

"This is really something to be experienced. It is new (2023) and massive - hundreds and hundreds of guests. It is a spa, first and foremost. The rooms are huge, quiet, and elegant; the numerous staff are efficient and multi-lingual. "It is an unstaffed self checkin hostel. That is not the problem. The problem is that they give the same code to a ton of the rooms so someone came to check in to the room next to mine but unlocked MY ROOM. So the code next door and to my room was the same and it worked so now this random man knew he could get into my room. It is NOT secure or safe. Also they say you can check in with a person between 4-8 but that is not true. Did not feel safe in my room after knowing someone else could use...

The view was great and had everything you could ask for. I really enjoyed the senbei and haori jacket- great for photo opportunity. I did not dine at the hotel but had some great whiskey at the bar. The bartenders were excellent- wish I got their name to give them credit. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a nice view. There was a small issue with our taxi to Beppu Station and the staff member (I did not catch his name) drove me to the airport! It was a very nice experience and I can appreciate the high level of hospitality."
