"All APA properties the showers curtain are smell damp and musty. I recommend the guests should paid at the time you booked. Do Not Pay at the Property they will charge you at the current rate of that day, they do not honor the rate at the time you booked especially in Tokyo and Non-Changeable. For example We booked for 5 nights originally 8 months prior and in 4 months I notified them We wanted to change to 4 nights but they still charged us for 5 nights. I’m still disputing this. April 2-6 this year 2026"

"Laundry machines were terrible. They didn't dry our clothes properly. Rooms were not very clean and felt old. Water bottles are provided on request at the inn. Sound insulation isn't great. Only plus was that it was affordable and conveniently located. Also the baths had great views of beppu."

"Great onsen hotel near the Beppu station. No shoes allowed in the hotel which is unique. 7 private onsens plus public baths were available. Free ramen is provided for supper. There’s massage chairs available for use too. Very comfortable stay except light in room is by sensor which is rather annoying. But all in all, still enjoyed my stay and will look to stay here if I ever come back"

"Idividual parking building next to the hotel. The parking lot was almost full for the day I stayed at the hotel. The public bath is big and well kept. The elevator is a bit slow. Lawson right across from the hotel. There are smoking rooms available. Although a bit outdated I had a comfortable stay"

"Parking was confusing, with 2 spaces not guaranteed. During check-in, we have a few broken things, but couldn't find the Room iPad to report it. The area is 10 min walk from the Beppu station, so it is not difficult to find a restaurant. Room wise, it is quite clean, with everything such as bed, sink, restroom and bathroom"
