All hotels was fully booked in Pau, found this nice hotel in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Stayed for 5 nights. Basic but very clean rooms, good wi-fi and work desk allowed for effective work at the hotel.

Difficult to find hotel from nearby in town. Lovely room, nice view from balcony, staff very friendly. Easy walk to centre ville. Only comment about room is shower curtain or barrier would be helpful, but otherwise room and b bathroom were lovely.

Excellent customer service, the staff is great, very personal and attentive

Lovely house on the side of the hill. Just three rooms. We were very well fed and very well taken care of by the owner and her family. I loved being able to sit out and look at the mountains and hear the river down below. Very hard to find though. Make an effort to be sure you have clear specific directions to the house before you arrive.

Super clean and cozy apartment and very well equipped. The owners, a married couple, were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great as well. The whole place is cozy and friendly. Also close enough to the ski resort. Definitely will be coming back here! A lot of care has been put into this place. So glad we stayed here!

This hotel is no frills. Straight forward in how they charge you and the services they provide. I was happy with what I got considering the price I paid. The facilities are plain in design but clean. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. The desk clerk was particularly accommodating. The waiter at the restaurant was adequate but not more than that.

The property is located on the hillside above Argeles-Gazost. Quiet, serene beauty surrounds you. The rooms are lovely. The amenities include a lap-pool, hot-tub, and sauna. The host, Anne, takes loving care of her guests….Individually cooked breakfast, assistance with dinner reservations, recommendations of local sites to see, and a truly delightful person! Don’t doubt her suggestions — we thoroughly enjoyed everything she encouraged us to try or do!

I stayed at the Hotel Majestic in late Sept 2015. My review is delayed because I mistakenly thought that I had completed it (when, in fact, I hadn't). The hotel is centrally located, and it is ~5 min walking distance from the Shrine. Upon check-in, my family realized that we were going to be on the top-most floor. My mother is unable to climb so many stairs, so we requested another room. The hotel staff were incredibly courteous and gave us a ground-floor room so that my mother could be...

The owner provided outstanding service for us. We were unable to use our US credit cards at the gas station and he offered to drive with us to a station and use his card and we paid him for the gas. Don’t be put off by the fact that reception for check in closes at 9; the automated kiosk was very easy to use. The rooms and breakfast are basic but fine for an overnight stop.
