I would say the interior definitely needs a refurbishment as it’s very dated, also air conditioning would be amazing as it’s so hot in the summer. Although dated, it does give it some charm. "What a beautiful little paradise. This hotel had everything we needed. Room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony and the wonderful view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Mr. Engel helped with check in and dinner and the manager told us about all the sightseeing activities. We stayed for 2 days. Also the sauna area is a great addition to the hotel. "

"Took the train into Salzburg and hotel was right outside the door. Also many tram and bus lines are directly located in plaza just outside the door. Breakfast located on the 4th floor with views or the plaza and mountains in the distance. Very complete breakfast available with eggs, bacon, pastries and breads, cereals, yogurts, sliced meats and cheese etc.. Short 15 minute walk will get you into center of old town. "
