"The property was central and nice looking, however the rooms didn’t have phones or clocks inside. The lack of a phone in a foreign country is totally unsafe. In case of emergency who or where do you call? Also, with a 6 hours jet lag I need a wake up call daily. How do you get one, without a phone in the room? The lack of a clock made it more difficult. I had to check my wrist watch hourly, so I would not oversleep. Those two issues made my sleep difficult and my stay at Hotel IMLAUER &Brau stressful."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The hotel was spotless and the staff were extremely helpful. The location was perfect as it was only a couple of minutes walk to our meeting point for our tours. The prepaid breakfast was great. There is a restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty of local restaurants close by. Hotel staff arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport. We would highly recommend this hotel."

"Our stay was great though it got off to a rough start. The hotel faces a beautiful walking mall but it is not accessible by auto which forces arriving guests to go to the back side of the hotel which is on a very busy road and has no elevator and many steps to get to the reception desk. The staff was very helpful and handled the luggage once we figured out how to get to the entry. The site of the hotel is excellent with easy access to the Fortess via funicular, a major attraction. We were able to enjoy many beautiful features of Salzburg directly from the hotel."
