"Really great place to stay and super close walking distance to the Services but not adjoining them. The only thing is trying to find this place as the Satnav started going bonkers every time we tried to get back. It always seemed to be on the opposite side of the motorway to where the satnav sent us! Really comfortable and good amenities. Gorgeous views cross the fields as well! TV was pretty small but worked."

"Well located (15 minute walk to the baths, and on several bus lines). Nice property, excellent breakfast. Our only issue was that our room (top floor) had a sloping ceiling that you have to be careful of to avoid bumping your head and which effectively reduces the useful space in the room."

"Stayed for 3 nights, had 2 rooms both were excellent, very comfortable beds, slept very well, air conditioning great, bathrooms clean and walls between rooms not paper thin. Breakfast was lovely, very flexible, could choose that morning whether you wanted it or not. Staff excellent, always there when needed but not intrusive and hotel parking was a plus, all in all, excellent, would highly recommend."

"Absolutely lovely stay as a solo traveller. Has all the charm and feel of Bath I was so surprised when I turned the corner and saw the street of gorgeous Georgian townhomes I would be staying on. Location was perfect - walkable to everything and super convenient to be able to come back before dinner and not lose any time. My room had a stunning view of the town on the top floor."

"The hotel has a very much a 5-star feel, reminiscent of something out of Downton Abbey. The building and public areas are grand, and the complimentary Elemis toiletries were a nice touch. Unfortunately, my room had several issues. The toilet seat appeared to be broken, and the bathroom layout was poorly designed. "The place was great but we just happened to go during a historical heat wave and there was no AC ! The staff were super helpful and gave us a Dyson fan but the heat was unbearable at times . The place is nice and very close to all attractions. The room was cozy and comfortable . We would have eaten there but instead looked for dining places that had AC so we could cool off !"

"Not ideal for wheelchair users as the lift is rather small also really difficult to get into the reception area from the car park as there is a big ledge to go over for access so a ramp is very much needed. Great parking Friendly staff Decent views and a nice room"

"Bath Priory is situated on beautiful grounds and gardens, loved the greenery and flowers. Our suite was very nice, two large rooms and a full bathroom. On arrival our room was not ready and we were brought to the bar for a complementary drink. We waited 45 minutes for a bar/restaurant member to even acknowledge us although the walked by us almost every minute. Not even a greeting. This level of service was common for the restaurant. At breakfast one day my wife’s meal was served 20 minutes...
