There were detailed information sheets explaining everything. The beds were comfy! There were various snacks he left for us to enjoy. "This is a great little rental. Clean, nicely decorated and the bed was super comfortable. All the essential supplies were there also many extra supplies. The water pressure in the shower is phenomenal. We were only here one night, I wish we would have stayed longer. It was within waking distance from the train station. There are some slopes but I wheeled two 18kg bags up them. (I'm in fairly good shape.)"

"The room was very clean and spacious enough for 4 of us. We were a little confused finding our room with the self checkin. Very close to all amenities in downtown Fribourg. The only downfall is we had to carry all of our luggage upstairs as there is no elevator. Laundry facilities were decent to use but drying clothes were very difficult with the amount of time it took. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable."

This Hotel is wonderful in every way! The staff was very accommodating and surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which had a huge balcony, kitchen, 2 baths and a living room. Did I mention 2 TVs! The breakfast was very good with a lot of fresh fruit, which I appreciated, meats, cheeses, eggs, assortment of breads and pastries. The location was perfectly situated just down the street from the train station and very, very close to all of the sights. The front desk was very kind in providing...

We liked the "kitchen" though there wasn't an oven to do pizza. (go to the 8th floor common room and use that one) The common room was never busy while we were there so if you want a comfortable spot to browse the internet or watch a game on your laptop that is a good spot. If there are two of you, pulling the other half of the bed out every evening was a bit of a chore but not a deal breaker. The bathroom was spacious by Swiss standards BUT the glass doors could make it awkward for some...

First I must say this was not my first choice. I usually book the 'day of' when I arrive in a city, but this time, there was nothing reasonably priced so I found this place. I was at first a bit disappointed that I was not in the city center BUT it turns out it was a 4 stop bus ride which was about 6 minutes to get to the main train station. Please note that I am not faulting this hotel, just giving the whole picture. I arrived at the hotel only to find it was jazz themed which made me...
