"Overall we thought the accommodation was excellent, clean and comfortable. The view of The Strait was an added bonus. Well appointed but there were stairs to negotiate if in the 3rd floor. The service was excellent however we ate in the restaurant and this let service levels down. It was a particularly busy evening and diners were left waiting while a till issue was sorted. Then we were told the kitchen might be closed. More training needed."

"Me and my girlfriend wanted a weekend away close by and chose Ruthin. We saw the Feathers which was very close to the centre. We booked two nights. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown our room and the amenities. It was only then I realized I'd booked a room with a shared bathroom. "Fantastic bb in a quiet part just off main street. A great base for exploring all that the area has to offer. We did Zip wire and Snowdon in the time we had. Rooms spotless and very comfortable with a great shower. Lovely guess lounge and really nice breakfast room with and excellent breakfast. Loved the homemade baked beans. Dave is a fantastic house, very welcoming, friendly. We wouldn't look anywhere else when staying in Betwys Y Coed now we found Summer Hill. Thanks Jo and Roy. "

"Our 3rd time, cozy, well equiped small old cottage, seconds walk from to the sea front, a couple minutes from the nice Seagrass cafe. Ten minute walk up the road next to the river to the Chip shop, Chinese or Curry house which does very good indian food been 3 times. Walk up past the lights a few more minutes to a decent co,op or a bit futher and over the bridge to a old dog friendly pub with beer garden next to the river, nice few pints there lol oh and plenty free parking near the cottage plus...

"Myself, my husband and 7 year old daughter loved staying here. It is very cosy. Everything you need is here, the owners provide everything and more. Great location. Parking isn’t great but it didn’t bother us to park up the road a little and walk down. Overall brilliant cottage"
