"This is a very reasonably priced hotel for Zurich but it is very basic and not well equipped, 1 mug, 1 large plate and 1 small plate - all for 2 people. "We had an enjoyable l one night stay at Gasthaus zum Bauernhof. The check in process was very unique in that your key is awaiting you but we did not see anyone who worked there until later. The beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious and we appreciated the adjoining rooms our family shared. "Owners are a very nice, friendly couple. Remote location from Luzern. No breakfast but were offered free coffee or tea. Ten francs to use grill. Shared bath (not private as advertised). Room size OK for two but "No picnic in room!" We did not see any "free toiletries" and initially were provided only one bath towel to use for two people."
