"The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Room had everything i needed in it. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was included in the morning which was lovely. There is parking at the guesthouse but there is a bus stop 1 minute away that takes you into the centre of Edinburgh which makes it a brilliant location for exploring."

"Only negative comment was that since we did not prepay for a breakfast, we were told at first that we could not add a breakfast but then she let us buy one with caveat that we only had a half hour to use the breakfast area as there was a bus or buses of people for breakfast already. We complied but the feeling of that interaction was not exactly a positive one since we had already been told the day before we could add a breakfast. Otherwise, loved the location. "

"The house is very nice, well mainteined, clean and comfortable. It's located just 6 minutes walking from rail station.I spent 3 nights here with my family (5 people) during our travel around Scotland and we used it as base to visit Edimburg. It has been perfect."

"I would highly recommend this B&B. I stayed for two weekends during the Commonwealth Games and would do so again. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and you could tell they had put thought into welcoming guests, adding little extras like make up remover and cotton wool, facecloths, earplugs, pillow spray and hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee. There were a great range of breakfast options to chose from too, with meat, veggie and gluten-free choices. The location works well for visiting Edinburgh or Glasgow. I travelled by train and it was less than 10 minutes' walk from Caldercruix station. The only thing I would warn about is that everyone sits round one big table at breakfast, which is great if you enjoy meeting your fellow residents, maybe not so good for those who don't like socialising first thing in the morning."
