"Good quality accommodation at a great price. The gym was very good the swimming pool was extremely disappointing not much more than a play pool. Rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast is good and inclusive of the room rate. All in all a good experience. "

"Wonderful Stay at The Lansdowne Guest House – Warm Hospitality & Perfect Location We stayed at The Lansdowne Guest House in Bourton-on-the-Water from May 15 to May 17, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were absolutely amazing — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making sure every guest had a great experience. They went out of their way to offer recommendations for local restaurants, tourist spots, and things to do in the area. It was clear they took pride in their work and truly cared about their guests. Every morning started with a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast made to order, which was a lovely touch. Our room was spotless, and the bathroom was well-stocked with all the necessary amenities. one particularly thoughtful touch was the fresh milk provided in our room every day — a small detail that made a big difference. The location was also perfect — very quiet and peaceful, yet just a short 5-minute walk from the heart of town and the local bus stop, making it easy to explore.
