Copthorne Hotel Newcastle
5/5 Excellent
"Myself and my boyfriend had a lovely stay. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and situated right in the Quayside - literally a stone throw away from all the amazing bars and restaurants.
The staff we had the pleasure to speak to were all so kind and helpful, professional and always welcoming. Breakfast was delicious - you could tell the ingredients were of a high quality and the dining area was clean and a lovely, open space to enjoy breakfast.
The only tiny little thing I’d mention is the hairdryer in the room was pants. We stayed in a club room and the hairdryer was one of those little ones you have to hold the button on to work. I’d expect a much better hairdryer than that for the room we were in. This is just a tiny improvement I would request and had no impact on our lovely stay. In any case, any hairdryer is better than none!"
