"It was a bit of an adventure finding Hotel Pacifica after a long day of travel, given it is located on the far side of the river with no obvious way to cross, but after asking directions from another "gringo" we found our way across the foot bridge. The suite was fine for three adults although a bit sparse in terms of kitchen supplies. Good enough for a simple breakfast or lunch but cooking supper would've been difficult. "I stayed at Riu Vallarta for a week with my friends and had a great time thanks to the animation team! Abner, Eric and Mimi were absolutely amazing at their jobs and always made sure we had a great time regardless of the activity, I had a wonderful time and would love to come back soon :)"

"Overall, we loved this resort! The areas were always clean and I never noticed any garbage or dirt lying around. Our rooms were also very clean and were turned daily! They were also great at respecting our door when we did want some privacy. They gave courtesy calls to ensure we did not want cleaning and refills on our fridge just incase, which was appreciated. When there was a big problem with our room, they gave us a new one in less than 5 minutes after our call. The beach and pools were amazing and we never had trouble finding chairs/towels. The private beach was incredible and was soooo worth it! The food and room service were great! There were a lot of options of add ons to the all inclusive rate. Cabanas, romantic dinners, spa, etc. were all not included, but accessible (although expensive). We also went with our family of 20, and they had trouble sitting us together, even though we made reservations in advance. They had the space, but did not want to move the tables. After a member in our family said something, the Italian restaurant moved tables around, but it took about 30 minutes after our reservation was before they sat us together. The other restaurants only sat up to 8 people together. We do not blame them too much as we were big, but it didn't seem like they tried very hard to get us together. Other than this inconvenience of not being together during meals, this resort was great. I would highly recommend for couples. The beach was unbeatable and such a perk!"

"The location was great and so was the view, privacy of beach and drinks. We had so much fun! The only thing that could use much improvement was the food. There were always just a few items that were so delicious but most of the food was bland and not representative of good Mexican cuisine. I wish they would have kept it with just seafood and Mexican dishes."

"The place was rated an 8 but that is incorrect. We got a basic room and it was nice. Definitely more a 3! . We did see a cockroach at one point. The maid service was great! We did not have a beach view but we would walk over to an area and see the beach perfectly. Beautiful. . The price was okay .. but I found it cheaper at other online place too late! The staff was always helpful in getting us Taxi.. We loved walking around Zona Romantica!!"
