"Hotel was very clean but was let down by the food. Breakfast was very good, bar meals basic but overpriced. A bad experience in the restaurant left us very disappointed. One member of party had a steak that was very tough & inedible, he was offered a replacement but it had put him off eating, apart from the waitress no one bothered to come to the table to apologise or discuss options and we were charged for the meal. "This is a perfectly functional hotel without being exceptional. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful and could not be faulted. It's clean albeit a bit tired. I think the rooms could be better soundproofed as people talking in the corridors could be heard word for word. The breakfast choice was good and our evening meal we tried was again good without being great. pricing is much the same as local restaurants.
