Mountains all around, river flowing close by with nice path for our evening walk. Village close by for dinner options. Easy drive for hiking from the passes and sightseeing in Caernarfon and Conwy and points between and around."

"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"What a lovely, cosy cottage stay with very welcoming hosts. Our dog loved it too. Bit hard to find initially just using the postcode, but once you spot it the other side of the bridge things are simple and straightforward."
