"The hotel is in a good location, it was clean and my bed was very comfortable. I had an issue while checking in: the hotel policy on Expedia says the hotel accepts debit cards, credit cards and cash. I presented my debit card for the security hold of CAD $200, the hotel front desk staff Simon said they ONLY take credit cards. I was stranded as I didn’t have a credit card, and had to ask a friend for help. The hotel policy should be updated as so to prevent such inconvenience to other hotel guests. "

"Very much enjoyed the balcony suites at the Hotel Palace Royale. Rooms were spacious, clean and the bed was SO comfortable. Old Quebec was steps away. Staff was friendly and informative. Would stay there again."

"TBH, the facility is a bit dated, but the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Kids enjoy taking a dip in the pool and run in and out of the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Overall, a good experience and will recommend to others."
