"The hostel is very close (a few minutes on foot) to the beach and to the town centre (important: for the town centre go the opposite way from the way to the beach:) You will get there in a few minutes on foot rather than half an hour or so going in a long circle - as I did with my kids! - the other way). "Second time at the Summer House. The best indicator i can give is i read 2 books. The location near to Lyndhurst and to Lymington is perfect for reducing travelling. Never realised how close we were to Beaulieu and Bournemouth. A day at Beaulieu wasn't long enough so a return is on the books. Travelling to Bournemouth and other seaside places is a waste of the tranquility of the stay. Walking the New Forest, on the doorstep is a dream. We will return in a heart. Alan"

"Nine adults and 6 young children all had a great time. Only one day warm enough for the pool but lots to do locally for kids and within an hours drive. House very well provisioned and wanting for nothing except very localised WiFi. Would go back."
