"Stayed here for two nights. Great hotel. Wonderfully warm welcome from Sam when we checked in. Great room. Really quiet. Perfect location, with everything in walking distance. Parking was ok. Couldn’t get in the hotel’s reserved spaces, so had to go on the main Peel Street site. No problems with this. A very reasonable £16/24h."

"The hotel is in a great location. The facilities were very good and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet was brilliant and had plenty of choices which were kept fresh, it was possibly one of the best breakfasts we've had in a hotel for a long time. The pool facilities are nice, although the pool is a little smaller than other hotels, the area clean and tidy with a few seats around the side. The hot tub was a decent size for a few adults though. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again if we were back up in York."

"We arrived early and just popped into reception to register our car as we planned to walk into York. The reception staff were lovely, they said our room would be ready in 15 minutes if we wanted to wait in the beautiful gardens they would take us up. We didn’t expect this as we were 4 hours before check in. The lady on reception took us to our room and showed us around the hotel. Everything was perfect. We had the room with the balcony and it was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and the staff cannot do enough for you. "
