Amazing hotel;especially for the price. Upon pulling up to The Godfrey we were met by the parking valet and doorman who helped us with our luggage. They were friendly and helpful with the Porter explaining if we needed any help with advice, etc he was available. We found so much charm in this building built in 1901. Great that they saved the old brick and humongous wooden beams. The laminate floors in the room feel brand new. Loved the kitchen and two TV's. Nice, modern hotel at the seaport. Quiet, walkable area with lots of restaurants and great harbor views. Hotel had spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice views, free good breakfast, rooftop patio with firepits and lots of amenities. Self parking at $15 across the street was fantastic.

Not sure that I can add to all the other 5 star rating but they are all well desired. It's like living in a meticulous well cared for home. Service and attention to details were exceptional. Just need to be aware that it's a walk-up. Rooms are 2, 3 or 4 floors up. They handle luggage. It wasn't a problem for us but one needs to be aware. Tom & Marcey

One thing I didn’t like is that there are no microwaves in the room. I’m sure this is to drive sales for room service and the on-site restaurant, but with so many restaurants nearby, it’s hard not to bring back leftovers.

Everything at this hotel was wonderful. Staff always went above and beyond. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be the in room dining menu. I have stayed in multiple four seasons hotel in different locations and others offer more options on their menu. I was stuck in a blizzard and had to order in room dining all day.
