Best Western Annesley House Hotel

"We only stayed one night, so didn’t really have time to use e.g the bar & didn’t have dinner there. But that said, we were able to park - it was an extra cost of £6 not included in the booking cost. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a tad tired, with a bit of crack in the top of bath rim; but it was perfectly usable. Breakfast was nice, the lady serving was informative and friendly. The gentleman on reception was again informative and pleasant. The hotel is well placed for walking into the city centre."

"Good room, clean, bathroom was tiny ( had to shut the door to be able to get in the shower) but clean, double bed mattress was a bit soft ( rolled in the middle). Good air con, Swimming pool a nice touch ( although needs a bit of a refurb to modernise) had steam room, sauna and hot tub. However was supposed to shut at 8pm and guy shut hot tub at 7:15pm then asked us to get out at 7:40pm. Breakfast was good but very busy due to a large coach party, they were replenishing the food even though they’d been told no plates! Restaurant was reasonable in the evening food was nice and plentiful and kids ate for free! Would we return prob not but it served its purpose as a 1 night stop over for a day out."

"Very happy with our stay at this hotel. Plenty of parking. You register your car with their system so you don't get charged. The breakfast was nice, rooms clean and had everything you would need. Very happy with our stay and would choose to stay again."
Broadview Hotel

"It would have been very helofull if we had been told the procedure fir booking in after 9pm. The campus was deserted so no one to ask. Eventually found a lady who informed us ro find the security guard who gave us a key, told us to go back to the main road and find our way into the carpark and then proceed to the hotel. No idea where that was. After walking round the campus did eventually found 2 people who showed us the way. The whole process from driving on to the campus to getting into room took almost one hour. Room, hotel etc perfect."

"Great location and lovely hotel. I did see there was a pillow menu but it would be nice to have good pillows on the bed without having to ask for them. The ones we had were foam and quite hard. We had dinner in the Wine Press restaurant which was very good but only realised there was an alternative menu when a member of our party asked about the different meal they'd seen another table receiving. We had been given the set menu with no option for any other. Guests should be offered both menus to chose from Other than that the hotel was lovely, the staff helpful and we enjoyed our stay"

"Stayed for a festival out at Earlham Park. Did not have a vehicle, buses to from Norwich and the Uni are quite convenient. Walked most days. 1 mile to Earlham, 2 miles to Norwich. The location was perfect for our needs. Plenty of bedroom space, kitchen was clean and well appointed. Common living space is a little sparce, but we spent little time outside of sleeping, so not an issue in the least. 15 minutes by Uber to the airport. There's a Tesco and a Food Coop a short walk through the neighborhood, so provisions were easy to obtain. There's a great river trail north of the flat which runs all the way into town, very nice place to explore. Oh, and for the geeks out there, the WiFi was blazingly fast. Thanks for hosting us."
