"What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. "Hotel was good and convenient for the city centre, the room (43) we were given was right by the Ipswich Road so was a little noisy. The room itself was excellent, the huge walk-in shower was a bonus. Considering the warm weather the quilt on the bed was a bit thick and we ended up taking it out of the cover. The only downside was that because we had booked through Hotels.com we were charged a £6 a night parking fee whereas if we had gone direct this would have been waived, a bit greedy considering the problems that hospitality is going through. Guess next year we will book direct!"

"Room was fabulous and clean. Staff were helpful. Lack of accessible mirror with good lighting in the bathroom meant putting in contact lenses was impossible. Breakfast was disappointing. When taken to our table one of the saucers had drips of tea all over it and when collecting our food a few of the ‘clean’ plates were not clean. Food was nothing special, no better than Premier inn. To be fair we didn’t order off the separate menu. Attention to detail at breakfast was a bit lacking for a high caliber hotel."

"The room we were allocated had not been cleaned and was full of rubbish. After complaining, we were relocated to another room. The room allocated did not have a mini kitchen as advertised in your pictures. I have a 2 year old child on antibiotics which required refrigeration and food warning facilities and that is why I chose your hotel. The receptionist was unable or unwilling to relocate us so we had to check out the following day as the facilities did not meet our needs. We had to cut our stay short and look for alternative accommodation elsewhere. We have been waiting for our refunds to be processed as at now. It was a very disappointing stay."

"Pros * The location was exactly as described with just a 15 minute stroll into the city centre. * We always managed to park in the car park and there were always some spare spaces as well * High ceilings meant that the apartment didn’t get over hot during the recent heatwave. * If you needed anything there was a Tesco Express just around the corner. * Although there was a pub nearby we actually didn’t hear any noise in the evening or night time. Cons * The legs on the chair in the apartment were only held on by 3 screws (not 4) so I reported it but never received a call back. * The toilet leaked when it was flushed. We told the cleaner as he was cleaning upstairs and he said he’d report it. Again we heard nothing back. * There was also a hole cut in the ceiling in the wardrobe… no idea why. * It’d be nice if the full length mirror was on the wall rather than behind the wardrobe door meaning you could only open 1 door of the wardrobe. * Overall it felt like there was no attention to detail… dust was in the corners of the room, a set of tie backs had been removed from the curtains but the holes left had not been filled in, there is a safe in the wardrobe, but it doesn’t work, a couple of the towels had seen better day"
