"House is well equipped with everything you need. Check in was smooth and we really enjoyed having big table in open kitchen & family room as well as the deck to hang out together as a family. We did try to contact owner several times during our stay to inquire about kayaks that are said to be available for you stay. It was one of the reasons we booked this location but we never got a response and there were no kayaks which was the only disappointment we encountered in missing time on the water on a long weekend with lovely weather. We did sit on the dock a lot and would rent the pontoon if we returned. Jake's was great we walked down to eat twice. "

"We went for our granddaughters graduation and had never stayed at this motel before. It was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean. The fridge didn't work, so we couldn' t keep water in there. The first night it was quite noisy with people slamming doors and hollering, which made our dog bark. My husband enjoyed their breakfast buffet, with a good variety to choose from. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and will stay again. "
