The breakfast was really good, there was plenty of choice including a traditional cooked breakfast, kippers or haddock and eggs also cereal, toast, and fruit. The service was really good, everyone was friendly and polite. Just a small warning, the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill, though ideal situation for getting to the shops, restaurants and beach! "

"First time to stay in Dorset so didn't know what to expect but found the location to be an excellent base to travel from. On arrival we felt relaxed straight away, beautiful surroundings, plenty of parking space, greeted with tea and cake and a lovely smile from our host. Looking back, the tea and cake said it all because everything after that was to the same high quality standard. The room was spacious and very comfortable with ensuite facilities as you would expect these days, tea and coffee...

"I went to book into the hotel and it was closed, dark and empty. I tried to contact them on both numbers provided. Nothing. No answer, no call back. I tried all day and it was so frustrating and worrying as we had no idea where we were going to sleep that night. I left it until 5pm and then found another place to stay. Thought that perhaps something had happened and they'd be back the following day and may offer the two nights from then. Next day arrived and same fiasco. The hotel we had booked...
