When I went back to raise the issue with them, they said that due to a mistake, they had given my room to someone else. I told them that wasn't acceptable and booked another hotel through Orbitz. "The apartment was easy to find near the Black Church. Parking not so easy on a Saturday, but we were able to unload right outside the apt so it was an easy walk back. The studio is fairly basic but more than adequate for a couple of nights. You are only 3 minutes walk from the main square in old town. Communication by WhatsApp was easy and prompt."

"Casa Gotica Residence is a beautifully restored property inside of a lovely old building located right on Republic Street in Brasov old town. Location could not be better! Close walking distance to all of the major sites. Staff nailed the check-in process. I’m not normally a fan of places that don’t have a permanently staffed front desk, but they sent a couple of easy to follow videos that made all the difference. Highly recommended!"

"great location on the edge of the Old City plaza however the sofa bed was NOT comfortable and basic repairs could have been done. door was hard to lock and toilet seat was not screwed in place properly and very wobbly. Main bed was comfortable according to my roommate. Did have a washing machine which was great though I didn't need to use it for the night we were there. "
