"We've already recommended this amazing lodge to friends & family.We booked this to escape our hectic work lives and to relax with our dog, Mable. Hosts Jennifer & Tim were both lovely.Very welcoming, complimentary cookies, lodge has everything you need, bed is so comfy, hot tub was flawless and so relaxing, surrounding areas are amazing for long walks and we received everything we hoped for. Peace, tranquility and a relaxing stay. Thank you"

"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "I would 100% recommend a stay here. The hosts were exceptional with their contact throughout right from when we made the booking. They could not have been more helpful and always responded very promptly and helped with recommending a local pub which was really nice. The accommodation was lovely and the garden area was beautiful and the hot tub temperature was perfect. We would definitely stay here again."
