B&B in Norfolk

Great property with lovely staff. The weather wasn’t great so we spent an afternoon in the lounge catching up with friends who were also staying. Would definitely return to do all the outdoor activities we missed this time around.

This B&B was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious, we stayed in the Nelson. Pillows and bed were very good. Cute little pub next door was a nice touch.

We stayed in Room 1. It was spotless and spacious with tea and coffee and bottled water. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was outstanding with a good selection of hot and cold options including full and small English to healthy vegetarian options. We chose The Ship Inn because of its location within walking distance to the beach and the ability to easily get on walking trails. We enoyed the doubly “smart” room — both the clean, modern decor and the motion-activated automatic lights for the main stairs (though they take time to come on) and the bathroom (shut the bathroom door when not in use so you don’t trigger those lights when you walk around in your room). Lovely helpful and accommodating host. Room and Breakfast were Excellent.

It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.

Perfect for a couple a night or weekend- awesome food and pub - like living history!

Such a unique hotel! Loved the pub downstairs. Staff and patrons were very nice and fun to talk to. Breakfast was amazing… not only the usual buffet of food, but you could also order off the breakfast menu, everything included with your stay. Our room was small, but fine for a night; the bed was comfortable.

Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

I enjoyed everything about my stay. Excellent room, good facilities, very friendly staff and a delicious (and filling) breakfast. You can’t beat the location. Right in the center of Holt.

Beautiful room, nice staff, great stay!!

We loved the executive room. The drive to Haustston beach is short and pleasant. We love the food, especially the fried oyster.
