"We had a nice week for RC slope flying in the region. The cottage is well equipped for all needs and for cooking for ourselves. A couple shops are close by. The surrounding landscape is great.Another option for preparing coffe other then the pad machine would've been a nice addition (filter holder or french press?).There was a bit of a fowl smell every time we came in, and we weren't able to locate it or get rid of it. We stayed during the heat wave and the house was so hot. We couldn’t keep the windows open because they could be accessed from the outside easily. The house is on a main road opposite a pub and the houses immediately beside it were partying hard all night. We Didn’t get much sleep. "

The pool table was a big hit with everyone! One thing, however, is that the property was a little difficult to find, but other than that we had no compliants whatsoever!"

"We stayed one evening at the home, my daughter, husband and I. The house was not in a great shape from the outside. Large amounts of chipping paint and nesting birds causing a badly muck stained window (nothing like in the advertising picture). Once inside, the house is in better shape and overall cleanliness inside was good, there is some nice decor too. However, outside the patio chairs and tables are in need of cleaning or changing and there were two large bags of rubbish. I did complain...

"Very nicely equipped. The central heating was broken so difficult to sleep. The back yard needs a lot of improvement, at the moment it is depressing. the stairs are very steep with shallow treads. There are so many midges, the bites of which caused my husband to develop a serious infection and is still on antibiotics as am I. I think future guests should be warned."
